It's 5 degrees outside today, so I moved the wood keel plank into the basement for cutting.  (I have a below grade basement door to the outside)

I used a Bosch 1587AVS saw with a T234X blade. 
It cut through the 1-3/8" white oak very easily, staying on the line with no problem.
