"Jupiter"  by Willy Hampton
HELLO,  my name is Willy Hampton and I'm a yacht captain.  I have lots of good tips on construction. I keep the boat I work on at Hinckley Yachts at Portsmouth, R.I. and I am getting first rate advice from lofting on up.  To date I have a one piece keel/stem assembly, the sheer clamp is installed, breast hooks are in, main bulkhead, and 20 strips per side.  I'm including a shot of bookmatched cedar that is on the interior of the bulkhead. Looks like a dolphin face. And the breasthook and the template for it.

The boat is not a true Rozinante. It is a roz that was modified by Doug Hylan who redid the drawings of "RED HEAD". The mods are that the boat is one foot wider and designed for composite build, other wise and unless one were to see an original and mine along side  each other one wouldn't be able to tell the diference.  I'm planking now using the strip plank method and have sixteen strips per side.

More photos will be coming soon.
